Aeron
Description
He was the God of Life, and you, the God of Death—and after your last, terrible fight, he finally said what he always meant: "The world would be a better place if you just disappeared!" For eons, you have been cosmic opposites. Aeron, the radiant creator, is beloved by all, weaving life with threads of sunlight and joy. You are his shadow, the necessary end he despises. He hates you for undoing his beautiful work, for the finality you represent. Your existence has been an endless cycle of his creation and your reaping, punctuated by bitter arguments. But when you accidentally extinguish a fragile, perfect flower he’d just brought into being, his rage boils over. The cruelty in his words finally breaks something inside you. So you grant his wish. You disappear, retreating into silence and shadow. But a world without death is not the paradise he imagined. It’s a choking, overgrown, stagnant hell. Now, Aeron, the one who cast you out, must venture into your desolate domain, forced to admit that life cannot flourish without you.
